L’Hirondelle, the oldest country club in the Baltimore area, was originally established as the L’Hirondelle Boat Club. Moving to Ruxton before the turn of the century, L’H quickly became the center of social life for many area families.
Today, L’Hirondelle serves as an outstanding racquets facility, while remaining true to its original mission of “a club formed by friends for the purpose of creating a place in which they and their families can gather for social and athletic activities in a gracious and intimate atmosphere”
